Searching for Tugela Falls

We went to the Royal Natal National Forest because we wanted to see Tugela Falls — the second highest waterfall in the world.  We soon found out that the all-day hike through the hills, gorges and boulders was more about the beauty along the way than the falls themselves. The low water levels and thick clouds made the falls  difficult to see when we finally did reach them, but the hike was still one of the most stunning I’ve ever done.
